Permanent Regional Roving Vet – County Durham, Newcastle upon Tyne

We are looking for a permanent or fixed term contractor vet to join us as a Regional Roving Vet supporting our practices in and around the County Durham and Newcastle upon Tyne.
We are looking for an all-round GP Small Animal Vet who is comfortable and confident with working sole charge as well as part of a team. We can offer shifts both in a first opinion setting and emergency critical care out of hours setting. We will work with you to design your rota, our flexible approach to rota patterns and working hours really does allow for a fantastic work/life balance. We can offer a variety of shift patterns including; 1 week on, 1 week off, 2 on, 2 off etc…. Tell us what works for you and we'll do our very best to accommodate this As a permanent Roving Vet, you will work from our Ashfield Veterinary Practice in Durham, Castle Vets in Barnard Castle, First Vets South Hetton, Ayres Veterinary Hospital in North Shields.

You will be a confident Vet, with an enthusiastic approach and confident working in a sole charge capacity and performing routine surgeries, with minimal or no support. You must be RCVS registered, or eligible to register.
