We’re recruiting … Chill Coordinator

 We are recruiting for a Chill Coordinator within the Logistics department at our Manchester Depot. 

 The purpose of this role is to support Outbound Logistics, delivering warehouse management to enhance customer service and minimise waste. 

Contract - 12 months fixed term contract 

Location - Manchester Depot 

Shift - 4 on 4 off days 06:00 - 18:00 

Role & Responsibilities: 

Responsible for warehouse waste management, highlighting all concessions and actively looking at ways to deliver improvement.  Drive Operational Excellence improvement opportunities and take action to implement to tracked initiatives.  Promote and Embed the Muller safety culture through the use of STAR cards and conduct safety sweeps and fully support all accident / incident investigations.  Promote cross functional working with sites to ensure optimum product availability.  Responsible for the warehouse stock management system.  Build a thorough understanding of all work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and ensure they are adhered to.  Support the introduction of new technology, systems and processes.  Responsibility for the warehouse stock reconciliation (day end / week end).  Responsible for Pick & Release and Voice Management processes.  Responsible for ensuring end to end product traceability and fully support product recall and traceability for our customers.  Responsible for cross stock management and stock trailer.  Support and promote the PMS culture across the site, analysing data accordingly.  Control site assets (GKNs, trolley tracing, Voice pick).  Provide customer support and handle any customer queries.  Role model clean as you go standards within the chill to reduce the risk of environmental impact around spillages. 

Key skills & experience: 

Relevant experience in a similar role is desirable  Works well both independently and in a team  Manages deadlines well and understands how to prioritise a workload  A positive thinking and self-motivated individual  An effective team member who works well on their own initiative  Excellent verbal and written communication skills  Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work
