GSL Education are seeking a dynamic PE Teacher to join our team in Gateshead A dynamic and inclusive school in Gateshead is seeking a dedicated PE Teacher to join their team. As a PE Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and challenging lessons, promoting physical health, teamwork, and a love for sport. The school is committed to providing a supportive environment for both students and staff, offering excellent facilities and resources.

Responsibilities as a PE Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons across a range of sports and physical activities.
  • Encourage participation, teamwork, and personal fitness among students.
  • Track and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their goals.
  • Organise and oversee extracurricular sports clubs and events.
  • Work closely with other staff to create an inclusive, positive learning environment.

Requirements for PE Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching PE in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to promoting a healthy, active lifestyle.
  • Have an updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
