Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons to students\
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and respect\
  • Assess, monitor and provide feedback on student progress\
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school-wide initiatives\
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with parents/guardians\
  • Use technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning\
  • Contribute to the wider school community through participation in extracurricular activities

Requirements

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification\
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the Business Studies curriculum\
  • Experience teaching Business Studies to secondary school students\
  • Excellent classroom management and organizational skills\
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities\
  • Commitment to professional development and staying up-to-date with educational theories and practices\
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students\
  • Experience working with diverse student populations
