Position
The eCommerce BusinessDevelopment Manager will be responsible for managing and drivingsales growth across major online retail platforms. This roleinvolves developing and executing business plans promotionalstrategies and brand page designs to enhance our online presenceand maximize revenue.
The ideal candidate willhave eCommerce experience in the beauty sector with the ability todevelop into a senior leadershiprole.
KeyResponsibilities:
Sales Strategy& Execution
- Develop andimplement strategic business plans to achieve sales targets andbudgets.
- Identify and capitalize on marketopportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Conductcompetitive analysis to inform pricing strategies and promotionaltactics.
AccountManagement:
- Manage and grow accountswith key online retailers such as Amazon Zalando and others in thebeauty and health space.
- Develop strongrelationships with retailer contacts to drive business developmentand promotionalopportunities.
PromotionalStrategy
- Plan and execute promotionalcampaigns to increase product visibility andsales.
- Collaborate with the marketing team todesign and optimize brand pages on retailerwebsites.
- Monitor and analyse campaignperformance to refine strategies and improveROI.
CommercialCapability
- Negotiate terms andconditions with online retailers to maximizeprofitability.
- Manage pricing strategies toensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Trackand analyse retailer metrics to inform business decisions andstrategies.
Collaboration &Leadership
- Work closely with theoperations team to ensure seamless logistics and orderfulfilment.
- Prepare and present regularperformance reports to senior management highlighting keyachievements and areas forimprovement.
Requirements
- Experiencein ecommerce management with a strong focus on the Amazon andleading pureplayers.
- Proven track record ofdriving online sales and achieving targets in the beauty or FMCGsector.
- Understanding of the European ecommercelandscape including key market trends and consumerbehaviours.
- Excellent commercial acumen withstrong negotiation and pricingskills.
- Proficiency in using ecommerceplatforms such as Shopify and Amazon SellerCentral.
- Strong analytical skills with theability to interpret data and make informeddecisions.
- Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strongrelationships with internal and externalstakeholders.
- Experience in a salesfocused rolewith a strong understanding of online retail metrics andperformance indicators.
- Ability to thrive in afastpaced dynamic environment and adapt to changingpriorities.
