Description

Responsible for Supplier Quality complaints including containment and supporting 8D management within Husqvarna factories. Mainly working on reactive basis and driving improvements of supplier issues with high sense of urgency and customer focus.

Responsibilities & Key Tasks

Responsibilities

To be the initial interface between the factory and supplier regarding quality deviations.

To involve all necessary Husqvarna functions needed to solve supplier related quality problems.

Manage internal customer relationships and collaborate with SQA Commodity Engineers in the development of suppliers.

Key Tasks

Provide feedback to suppliers on quality deviations found within the factory processes (Goods-in, assembly lines, lab etc)

Send IQN (Initial Quality Notification) to suppliers.

Initiate, together with SQA Commodity Engineers, supplier 8D’s and drive closure.

Validation of supplier root cause analysis and permanent corrective actions in collaboration with SQA Commodity Engineers.

8D progress reporting.

Regular data collection and KPI reporting.

Review and disposition deviation approval requests.

Support and collaborate with Global SQA team.

Visit suppliers, where required in conjunction with SQA.

Involvement in New Product Introduction process through the development and industrialization stages by supporting Engineering and Manufacturing pilot builds(trial builds).

Additional Skills/Qualifications Required

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in related field or work experience in relevant area

Experience

3+ Years of relevant experience in Supplier Quality Engineering role

Capable of reading and interpreting Engineering drawings both electrical and mechanical

ExperienceworkingwithEMSsuppliersdesired

Problem solving and analytical skills

Communication skills

English, verbally and in writing(English is used globally within our supply chain)

Be able to communicate technical concerns to management, suppliers and Global SQA team.

IT Literacy

Proficient in the use of Microsoft office software(Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Project)
