Exciting Opportunity for a QTS Criminology & Sociology Teacher in Slough

GSL Education Watford is currently seeking a number of dedicated and passionate QTS Criminology & Sociology Teachers to join our client school in Slough. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire and educate students in the fields of Criminology and Sociology.

As a QTS Criminology & Sociology Teacher, you will be responsible for:

• Planning and delivering engaging and well-structured lessons in Criminology and Sociology that align with the national curriculum.
• Providing students with a comprehensive understanding of Criminology and Sociology concepts, theories, and real-world applications.
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and promotes academic excellence.
• Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback, and supporting students in achieving their full potential.
• Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the Criminology and Sociology curriculum and integrate cross-curricular learning opportunities.
• Staying up-to-date with developments in Criminology and Sociology education and incorporating new techniques and methodologies into your teaching practice.

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Criminology and Sociology.
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the Criminology and Sociology curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians.
• A passion for Criminology and Sociology and a commitment to helping students develop their skills and understanding.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Dedication to ongoing professional development and a commitment to inclusive education.

Must hold an enhanced, Child Only DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
