Here at Long-term Teachers we are working with an Independent School, supporting young people who are slipping through the net in mainstream education. All young people have a statement identifying social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) as their primary need. Their multi-disciplinary team adopt a trauma informed approach to tailor learning and support programmes for young people and their families.


 

As an LSA, you will be a pivotal member of dedicated professionals, who care for, nurture and inspire young people to reach their full potential in both academic and personal development. You must have a positive, enthusiastic, hard-working, empathic and resilient attitude towards working with young people. Whilst it would be advantageous to possess current knowledge and experience of SEMH, it is not essential. A willingness and desire to further develop your skill set and knowledge is key.

This will be a full time position working Monday to Friday, term time only.
