Job Description: Opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Maths Specialist General Teaching Assistant to support our students and staff. This role is perfect for recent maths graduates or current maths university students who are looking to gain valuable experience in an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support in maths lessons across various year groups.
  • Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities.
  • Work with small groups or individual students to provide targeted maths support.
  • Help to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Assist in the assessment of pupils' progress and provide feedback.
  • Participate in school meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • A recent graduate or current student in a maths-related degree.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Experience working with children (preferred but not essential).
