Job summary

We are currently recruiting for a Stock Controller to join our Estates and Business Performance Team. The successful candidate will ensure that all clinical rooms across HMG remain fully stocked while ensuring there is adequate supply for clinicians, completing checks on expiry dates of stock and using the systems and processes in place. The successful candidate will require a good attention todetail, be able to use a computer and have good keyboards skills. Previousemployment in a medical setting and knowledge of medical terminology would beadvantageous.

The role will require early 7:30 am starts at times.

Main duties of the job

Responsible for checking and maintaining stock in clinical roomsacross HMG at various sites as designated by line manager. Check clinical rooms are stocked correctly according to room stockchecklist. Rotation of stock, to ensure stock does not expire and lead towastage. Expiry dates of stock to be checked to ensure valid. Check correct forms in place, with adequate supply for clinicians. Sundries such as couch roll, hand soap also to be checked andreplaced. Flag stock to be ordered to the appropriate person in good time. (place orders on the agreed ordering systemfor authorisation by line manager) Report any issues to line manager or lead nurse. Send supplies to other sites if requested.
