Power Platform Developer

Job Duties
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and team members on Power Platform solutions, fostering a culture of self-sufficiency and innovation.
- Solution Development: Design, develop, and implement high-level solutions using the Power Platform suite (Power Apps and Power Automate) to meet business requirements.
- Azure SQL Migration: Lead the migration from on-premises SQL Server (2008) to Azure SQL, ensuring a smooth transition and optimal performance.
- Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership in the adoption and implementation of automation solutions, leveraging low/no-code platforms and Microsoft technologies to drive efficiency and productivity across the organisation.
- Query Optimisation: Optimise SQL queries and database performance to support fast data retrieval and analysis.
- Automation and Streamlining: Identify opportunities for automation within business processes and develop automated workflows using Power Automate and other tools to streamline operations and reduce manual effort.
- Data Governance: Establish and enforce data governance policies and best practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Developers to understand data requirements for front-end applications, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Proven experience as a Power Platform Developer or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Strong proficiency in SQL Server and experience with Azure SQL Database.
- Knowledge of data governance principles and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with other Microsoft tools and technologies, such as SharePoint.
- Previous experience in migrating on-premises databases to Azure SQL.
