Salary: £80 - £100 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-Time

About the Role:
GSL Education  are currently seeking a passionate  Graduate Teaching Assistant (SEN)  to join our team in  Hexham.  This role involves providing support to students with special educational needs, assisting them in their learning and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored support to students with SEN.
  • Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
  • Provide assistance with classroom activities and differentiated learning tasks.
  • Support students in developing independence and confidence in their abilities.
  • Collaborate with the SENCO and other staff members to implement individual education plans (IEPs).

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a degree in Education or a related field.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate empathy, patience, and resilience when working with students with SEN.
  • Be committed to promoting inclusion and equal opportunities for all students.
