What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Promote good health, safety, and environmental practices throughout the site

  • Develop and monitor Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work for all tasks carried out across the whole operation

  • Provide, or where necessary organise training for staff in relation to Health and Safety policies, practice, and procedures

  • Support cost-effective delivery of facilities/maintenance services, with least disruption to site activities

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Proven track record of H&S management experience within a fast-paced logistics distribution environment and facilities management ideally with a strong LEAN background

  • The ability to drive a strong safety culture from the ground up, inspiring and motivating the team to continually strive for continuous improvement

  • Sound knowledge of H&S legislation, policies, and procedures with NEBOSH (obtained or working towards) Experience with Risk Assessment and SWP creation, development, and maintenance
