Role Overview:

Are you passionate about retail and enjoy helping customers find what they need? As a Sales Floor Assistant at 8Bits, you will be a vital part of our store’s daily operations, ensuring that the sales floor is well-maintained, assisting customers with their inquiries, and supporting the team in achieving sales goals. Your role is essential in providing an exceptional shopping experience.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers as they enter the store and offer assistance with product selection.
  • Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and fully stocked, with products displayed attractively.
  • Assist with restocking shelves, managing inventory, and organizing stockroom items.
  • Provide customers with detailed product information and personalized recommendations.
  • Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system, handling various forms of payment.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with team members to set up promotional displays and participate in store events.
  • Support the team in meeting sales targets and maintaining a positive store atmosphere.
  • Stay informed about new products, services, and store policies to provide knowledgeable assistance to customers.
  • Participate in training sessions and contribute to a collaborative and supportive work environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and handle tasks independently.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
