About The Role

Location: Connon Bridge, Liskeard

Salary: £30,240.21 per annum  Working 47.5 hours per week Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday Start times: 07:00am - 17:00pm Full PPE provided

What you’ll do:

As a plant operative for SUEZ you will carry out duties individually, or as a member of a team, for operations to control, transfer and stockpile waste & recyclables at a busy material transfer station whilst following our health and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities will include:

Operate mobile and fixed plant, including cleaning and maintenance of equipment.  Guide tipper vehicles on to site whilst managing the traffic. Any other duties that are reasonably requested within the scope of the job-role, including undertaking first aider / fire safety duties on site.

What you’ll need to apply:

Essential:

Have a health & safety conscious approach with the desire to develop & embrace change to promote continuous improvement. Operational experience and current licences for loading shovel, 360 tele-handler and forklift.

Desirable:

Experience working in the waste/recycling industry.
