SEN Teaching Assistants will work alongside skilled teachers and multidisciplinary teams to support children with a range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The role will involve:

  • Supporting students in their learning and development, both in class and through tailored interventions.
  • Assisting with behaviour management and emotional regulation.
  • Promoting a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
  • Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and families to implement individual education plans (IEPs).

The school is encouraging applications from individuals with a passion for SEN education, including those with experience in primary or secondary settings and expertise in working with children with ASD or ADHD.

Key Requirements:

  • A genuine interest in working with children with SEN.
  • UK experience supporting children with ASD, ADHD, or other additional needs is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility, patience, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Relevant qualifications or training (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or SEN qualifications) are advantageous but not essential.
  • Enhanced and Clear DBS and UK Citizenship.
