The Role:

Here at Survitec, we are currently recruiting for a Lifting Engineer to join our team based in Plymouth.

As a Lifting Engineer, you’ll deliver top-notch service, ensure safety and quality standards are met and contribute to a positive work culture.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Execute precise servicing, maintenance, and repairs with a focus on quality, safety, and key performance metrics. Take charge of planned preventative maintenance for customer gantry cranes, ensuring proactive care and optimal functionality. Swiftly respond to customer breakdowns, conduct thorough fault diagnosis, and implement cost-effective service and repair strategies. Produce comprehensive service and repair reports, meticulously documenting all utilized parts in their correct allocations. Perform proof load testing, visual examinations, and service inspections on cranes, lifting equipment, and PPE, attaining competency levels per LEEA standards. Possess qualifications and hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, showcasing expertise in fault finding. Apply familiarity with test and examination techniques for general lifting equipment to LEEA standards. You will have the opportunity to develop in your role and feel proud of the work you do. About You:

Essential criteria:

Minimum NVQ3 in Electrical and/or Mechanical Maintenance. Knowledge of LOLER requirements. Competence in inspecting lifting equipment (LOLER) Full UK Driving License

Desirable Criteria:

Experience in maintaining, repairing, and fault-finding gantry crane systems. Hold LEEA foundation and Lifting accessories Diploma or equivalent
