Working as an integral part of the Stackpole team managing the successful operation of our holiday accommodation and outdoor experiences offer. You’ll host families, schools and young people, delivering a range of outdoor activities and residential experiences. 

Hours: 37.5 hrs per week.

Contract: fixed term contract for 12 months.

Occasional weekend working will be required as part of the wider team.

Please note internally this role is known as ‘Senior Visitor Experience Officer’.

In this role you’ll be reporting to the Visitor Operations & Experience Manager. 
Stackpole is a listed designed landscape and an internationally important nature reserve. This stunning location takes in an eight-mile stretch of coastline, with sandy beaches, wooded valleys and lily ponds. Staff work across a varied portfolio which includes Bosherston Lakes and Tudor Merchant’s House in Tenby.

What you'll be doing

Fel rhan o’ch rôl, byddwch yn gweithio gyda thîm ar weithgareddau marchnata, profiad ymwelwyr/gwesteion, prisio, cyfleusterau a threfniadau mynediad. Bydd gofyn i chi hefyd weithio fel rhan o rota Rheolwyr ar Ddyletswydd Ystâd Stagbwll pan fydd angen.

Byddwch yn cefnogi’r gwaith o osod cyllidebau a chostau gweithredu, gan weithio'n agos gyda'r Rheolwr Cyfleusterau i nodi risgiau gweithredol ar draws Stagbwll wrth sicrhau diogelwch cyffredinol yr holl ymwelwyr.

Byddwch yn arwain tîm bach o Gynorthwywyr Cyfleusterau, ac yn gweithio gyda chontractwyr glanhau allanol i sicrhau bod y gwaith o baratoi’r llety rhwng gwesteion yn amserol ac yn cael ei reoli’n dda.

You’ll be responsible for the successful operation of a small portfolio of locally managed holiday accommodation including bunkhouses and holiday cottages alongside outdoor areas including a theatre space and meeting room. You’ll host families, schools and young people delivering outdoor activities and residential experiences ensuring adequate provision is available.

As part of your role, you’ll work with a team to deliver on marketing, visitor/guest experience, pricing, facilities and access arrangements. You’ll also be required to work as part of the Stackpole Estate Duty Management rota when required.

You’ll support in setting budgets and operational costs, working closely with the Facilities Manager identifying operational risk across Stackpole whilst ensuring the overall safety for all visitors. 

Leading a small team of Facilities Assistants, you’ll work with external cleaning contractors and ensure changeovers are managed well and in a timely manner.
