Purpose of the job

As a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant, you will bring strong technical, functional and product expertise to deliver effective solutions to clients and the business.

You will be taking the lead on designing and delivering platform solutions, providing technical support, platform development and pushing best practice on client accounts.

As well as the above, you will work closely with the Principal Marketing Cloud Consultant to shape, develop and grow the team within the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementation, configuration, data migration, and working with Marketing Cloud Connect, and other Integrations,
    •Lead requirements gathering, solution design, and writing statements of work
    •Communicate project concepts and outcomes to client project stakeholders
    •Design and delivery of solutions in Email Studio
    •Design and implement, for automated email/mobile journeys using Email Studio, Mobile Studio Automation Studio and Journey Builder, and advise clients on how to optimize further
    •Experience in reporting and analysing email activity using Email Studio reports and Journey Builder
    •Proficiency with Data Views and Discover Reports within Analytics Builder, Einstein Engagement
    •Design and/or build integrations between Marketing Cloud and 3rd party applications or data sources
    •Conduct user training and actively promote user adoption of Marketing Cloud
    •Track record for delivering marketing automation projects in a fast-paced environment, and able to successfully keep to deadlines
    •Ability to work with clients to design customer journeys, and associated data models.
    •Extensive experience with Marketing Cloud Studios & Builders, most importantly Email Studio, Content Builder, Journey Builder and Automation Studio, and ideally also Cloud Pages and Mobile Studio
    •Experience with Interaction Studio and the ability to handle UI tasks, such as Web campaign management
    •Conceptual understanding, to be able to establish data models, work with API’s and configurations

Knowledge, skills and experience required

Certifications

  • SFMC email Specialist (must have)
  • SFMC administrator (must have)
  • SFMC consultant (must have)
  • SFMC developer (bonus)

Essential

  • Knowledge of 1+ of the 6 programming languages in SFMC: AMPScript, HTML and CSS, SSJS and/or Javavscript, SQL (Query Studio experience) Or Guide Template Language).
  • Interaction Studio experience
  • Active in the Salesforce Trailblazer community and management of certifications

Desirable

  • Implementation experience of Datarama, Salesforce CDP, Advertising Studio, Loyalty Management
  • Experience of leading/mentoring and or facilitating knowledge sharing in a class/workshop setting
  • SF Einstein and AI/ML exposure and usage
  • Web design and UI experience
  • Experience working with JIRA, Confluence and Microsoft Teams
