DescriptionThe Finance Analyst should work alongside other members of the finance team to process technical and non-technical financial information and data. The role will require a close working relationship with the other departments to ensure timely processing and recording of transactions. 
Key Responsibilities• Assisting with Month-end process (E.g. Reviewing GL accountant codes & maintaining the Group’s fixed asset register). 
• Raising intercompany invoices and reconciling intercompany balances. 
• Preparing monthly cost-centre reports, to be shared with departmental directors. 
• Preparing monthly credit card spend report. 
• Ownership of the credit card process (Creation of new cards, removing card no longer required, posting CC receipts and reconciling missing receipts) 
• Assisting with posting bank postings to the general ledger and complete bank reconciliations. 
• Assisting with preparation of Group VAT return. 
• Assisting with the annual Audit and Corporation tax return process. 
• Creation of new fixed assets on the system. 
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise• Work experience in a similar role. 
• Have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail and 
• Communicate effectively with other areas of the business. 
• Experience of using an ERP system 
• Organised, persuasive, resourceful, flexible, ambitious, self-directing, passion for delivering objectives, comfortable challenging existing processes. 
• Clear and effective communication skills with internal and external clients 
• Must be a team player.
