SPP is continuously expanding its product range and the markets it supplies into. This requires the recruitment of high quality/high potential candidates to become key members of a growing team.

Due to the team expanding an exciting opportunity has become available for an Mechanical Bias, Maintenance Engineer to join our Severfield Maintenance team in Sherburn, near Malton North Yorkshire.

The purpose is to ensure the factories remain in operation in a safe and efficient manner. You will work as part of the team on new installations assisting with the improvement projects to help increase maintenance efficiencies.

You will be responsible for executing planned maintenance in accordance with planned downtime, and respond to breakdowns in a timely and safe manner.

To be successful in this role you’ll need 3 years+ experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment using similar equipment and have an NVQ level 3 in Engineering or time served with a mechanical qualification.
