The Senior PeopleSoft Developer will be responsible fordesign development and implementation of ERP solutions tostreamline business processes and drive operational efficiency. Youwill work closely with business and technology stakeholders tomaintain SLAs for up time and support of business systems. Thisrole is responsible for maintaining the financial systems from atechnical standpoint.
RESPONSIBILITIES TOINCLUDE:
- Design develop and maintainthe ERP and related application systems that are running the dailyoperation of VNA Municipal Water (Utility.) Applications includebut are not limited to PeopleSoft PowerPlan Hyperion PlanningPerceptive Content Oracle FCCS and Oracle EPBCS.
- Participates in and may lead projects such as ERP patchupdates application implementations migrations and other specificprojects Applies Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban tofacilitate iterative development continuous improvement and rapiddelivery.
- Work closely with business analystsand stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirementstranslating them into technical specifications and actionabledevelopment tasks.
- Write clean efficient andmaintainable code in accordance with best practices and codingstandards ensuring scalability reliability and performance of ERPapplications.
- Integrate ERP solutions withexisting software systems databases and thirdparty applicationsensuring seamless data flow and interoperability across theorganization.
- Develop and executecomprehensive test plans including unit testing integration testingand user acceptance testing to validate the functionality andreliability of ERP software.
- Create technicaldocumentation including system architecture diagrams designdocuments and user manuals to support ERP implementation trainingand ongoing maintenance.
- Collaborateeffectively with crossfunctional teams communicate project statusrisks and issues in a timely manner and actively participate inAgile ceremonies such as sprint planning standups andretrospectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelorsdegree in Computer Science or computer related field from anaccredited institution.
- 5 years of experiencein IT and ERP Development required
- PeopleSoft(PeopleTools Financials and Supply Chain) development experiencerequired (Modules Including General Ledger Accounts PayablePurchasing/eProcurement Inventory Project Costing Expenses (TimeReporting)
- Oracle Database experiencerequire
