Position Overview:
Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic High Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) ready to make a real difference in the lives of young learners? Teaching Personnel is thrilled to partner with a vibrant and inclusive school in North Liverpool to recruit an exceptional HLTA to join their supportive team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can contribute to the success of students across all year groups by providing high-quality support in the classroom and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of lessons, working closely with teachers to plan and deliver tailored learning activities.
  • Lead small group sessions and interventions to boost student progress.
  • Cover lessons in the absence of the class teacher, maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Provide 1:1 support to students with additional needs, fostering their academic and personal development.
  • Assist with the preparation of resources and the creation of an engaging classroom environment.
  • Promote a safe and inclusive atmosphere, supporting the school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies.

Requirements:

  • A Level 4 HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
  • A strong understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Previous experience working in a school setting, ideally supporting children with diverse learning needs.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
