Stable Hand/Groom

We are based in Scotland where we are a livery yard and breed and produce sports horses. We are looking for an Assistant Manager who will assist in the day to day running of the yard and will have a good general knowledge of working with horses.
As a member of the team, you will be expected to carry out all usual yard duties. These will include mucking out stables, feeding, turning out the horses, putting them in and taking them out of the the walker, lunging and grooming the horses as well as general yard maintenance.You must be able to follow schedules and time frame, you will have to be able to work on your own and as part of the team.

Experience working with young horses and stallions would be preferred however it is not essential. There will be an opportunity to ride some horses, show jumping experience is helpful but again not essential.

This is a live in position and accommodation is provided within a modern Farm house on site.
