Year 5Teacher responsibilities:
Creating and executing daily lesson plans that reflect the schoolscurriculum and focus on individual learning needs of Year 5students
Create and maintain a safe positive andstimulating learning environment for Year 5agedchildren.
Ensuring that diversity within theclassroom is embraced and supported.
Creating aclassroom environment that is safe respectful andwelcoming.
Engaging with parents or guardiansregarding student progress behaviour and otherconcerns.
Collaborating with colleagues tocreate an excellent education experience for Year 5students.
Maintaining regular communication withthe school leadership team regarding lesson plans assessments andstudent progress.
Ensuring that all Year 5students understand the core philosophies values and expectationsof the schools culture andcommunity.
Year5 Teacherrequirements:
- QTS EYTSor PGCE and strong academic record
- Experiencein teaching in a primary school.
- A relevantbachelors degree in education.
- Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills.
- Aminimum of 23 years experience teaching Year 5agedchildren.
- A thorough knowledge of the earlyyears curriculum coupled with the ability to plan deliver andassess effective lessons.
- Ability to create andmaintain a warm and stimulating learning environment that fosters alove of learning.
- Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationshipswith children parents/carers and staff.
- Apassion for education and a commitment to continuous professionaldevelopment.
Year5 Teacher Salary
The salary forthis Year 5 Teacher position will be paid to scale on a permanentcontract following the MPS/UPS payscale.
