Wincanton are looking for Class 2 Drivers for our new JD Sports contract

Salary £29,629.39

How will you contribute

· You will be delivering to JD Sport retail outlets.

· You will be responsible for the accurate and timely movement and delivery of our customers’ products

· Ensuring all documentation is completed accurately with attention to detail.

· Adhering to safe working practices to ensure the safety of yourself and others at all times.

· Complying with all relevant legislation in line with Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive requirements (opt out available).

· Responsible for the Health and Safety of themselves and others, completion of dynamic risk assessments, adhering to safe working practices and the Health & Safety at Work Act, including accident, incident, and damage reporting.

· To ensure contractual KPI’s over delivery of product is undertaken in both a legally compliant and health and safety manner

· Attending any relevant training as required to ensure you remain fully equipped to perform your role effectively and to assist in the development of continuous improvement.

· Keep the vehicle you use clean, tidy, and well cared for, so it is ready to be used the next day

What will you bring?

· Must have valid Class 2 licence

· Must have valid CPC

· Must hold Digital Tachograph card

· Must not have more than 6 points on licence

· Must have a minimum 12 months Class 2 driving experience

· Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills

· Good timekeeper and able to work unsupervised

· Must be fully flexible on working hours

· Enthusiastic and reliable with a commitment to delivering first class customer service

· Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work

· Must have a good geographical knowledge
