JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description: We are seeking skilled and experienced Bolting Technicians to join our team for shutdown projects across the United Kingdom. As a Bolting Technician, you will be responsible for executing bolting tasks efficiently and safely in accordance with industry standards and project specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities:
  • Perform bolting operations including torqueing, tensioning, and nut splitting.
  • Utilize various bolting tools and equipment to achieve proper bolted connections.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Inspect and maintain bolting equipment to ensure functionality and compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate bolting activities.
  • Document work activities, including completed bolting tasks and any issues encountered.
  • Adhere to project schedules and deadlines to meet client requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Bolting Technician or similar role.
  • Valid TMJI10 certification.
  • CCSNG (Client Contractor Safety Group) certification.
  • Strong understanding of bolting techniques, tools, and equipment.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to bolting operations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts and overtime as needed.
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces.
