Job summary

As InHealth continues to grow and thrive, were seeking experienced Consultant Gastroenterologists/Endoscopists to join our clinical teams around the UK.

This is a mobile role on a mobile contract, working in the UKs first all-inclusive, mobile endoscopy suites, in partnership with NHS Trusts and the independent sector. This means that although you will initially be based at one mobile endoscopy suite, you may well be required to travel to our other mobile sites in the future. You'll have the opportunity to work as part of a well-oiled clinical team, in suites that are kitted out with the highest quality equipment, so you can feel confident you have the best tools for the job. Our patient lists are well planned, meaning you don't get overstretched because of slotting in extra appointments.

Main duties of the job

We have opportunities to join us on either an employed (permanent) or flexible, sessional basis, and we offer highly competitive salaries and rates of pay and opportunity to work full or part time - you choose.

Requirements:

A UK registerable Medical Degree

GMC registration with a license to practice

Entry on to the specialist register for Gastroenterology or General Surgery

JAG Accreditation

Experience

Youll need to be able to demonstrate an exceptional level of skill in the following areas:

Diagnostic Colonoscopy Diagnostic Gastroscopy Diagnostic Flexible Sigmoidoscopy Ability to undertake clinical audit of work and apply findings to clinical work Clinical training and experience equivalent to that required to gaining UK CCST Ability to offer expert clinical opinion on a range of issues in elective gastroenterology, drawing on substantive experience in the speciality Ability to take full and independent responsibility for clinical care of patients Person Specification
