Labourer

OCU Hornbill (Part of the OCU Group)currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Labourer.As we continue to grow through 2024 this has provided us with anopportunity to grow and develop our team based in and around CanveyIsland.

Duties andResponsibilities:

• Assistin tasks such as the installation of cable containment and clippingetc.
• Ensure adherence to company and industryregulations.
• Operate equipment (for whichtraining has been received) in a safe and efficient way accordingto all relevant legislation policies andprocedures.
• Ensure equipment and tools arestored safely and securely.
• Where practicalclean and make minor repairs to equipment andtools.
• Operate basic hand/powertools.
• Site based work may include working awayfrom home or during weekends as reasonably required and withsufficient notice where possible.
• Any othertasks as reasonable required in relation to yourrole.
• Ensure the highest levels of quality aremet.
• Conduct risk assessments & driveSHEQ excellence.

SkillsandExperience:

• Experiencesupporting electricians installing cable containment andclipping.
• Experience using basic powertools.
• Able to work collaboratively with ateam.
• Professional approach selforganised andmotivated.
• Able to help support electricianscarry tools and other equipment betweenjobs.
• Full driving licence is essential Dailytravel is required.
• Strong attention to detailandtimekeeping.
