Job summary
Join us in this role and receive a £3000 welcome aboard bonus* An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Physiologist/Scientist to join our small friendly team in the Respiratory/Sleep Service, Royal United Hospital Bath NHS Trust, Bath. You must have the ability to work both independently on a rotational basis off site running the Community Diagnostic Centre (Sulis Hospital) and as part of a team (RUH), main site.
Main duties of the job
he successful applicant will assist with the operational and clinical management of the service under the supervision of the Lead Physiologist. They will need to demonstrate a history of developing services and staff and is committed to providing a high-quality service. We are also involved in the development of a Community Diagnostic Centre scheduled to open in 2024 where Lung function testing will be provided as part of a breathlessness pathway but also sleep diagnostics will be hosted. Job responsibilities
*This bonus is offered to those who commence substantive employment within Sulis Hospital between 1st January 2024 31st December 2024 in a role dedicated to the hands-on delivery of patient care requiring registration with either the NMC or HCPC/relevant registration. The bonus is paid in two parts, £1500 at the end of your successful completion of your 3-month probation period and £1500 after 12 months of employment. For part time positions this bonus is pro-rata for joiners

ARTP Practitioner Qualification Registration with the AHCS Experience of providing mentorship or support to trainees/junior colleagues Experience of other respiratory physiology investigations
