They are nowactively looking to recruit a MET Technician Stripper / Fitter fortheir Bodyshop in AstonBirmingham.

Therole will not only suit a current MET Technician but also a Level 3qualified Motor Vehicle Technician who is looking for a slightchange in role and no weekendworking.

Aboutthe Job

As an experiencedMET Technician you will be responsiblefor:

• Carrying out allnecessary mechanical and bodywork on allocatedjobs
  
• Dismantling vehicles ready forthe panel shop
  
• Carrying outinspections faultfinding and diagnosticwork
  
• Ordering replacementparts
  
• Reassembling the vehicle withnew parts as required to preaccidentcondition

• Work skillfully andsafely under pressure
  
• Carry out workin accordance with manufacturersspecification
  
• Work as part of a teamas well as on your own initiative with minimalsupervision
  
• Be flexible in yourapproach
  
• Continually work to highstandards with customer satisfaction inmind
  
• You will ensure that all taskscarried out follow our Health and Safety guidelines; for examplewearing all provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) andkeeping all work areas clean andtidy.
  
• Have previous experience as anMET or be a Level 3 qualified motor vehicletechnician
