What you’ll be doing

This is a role in the Prudential Risk team at Paragon Bank. This team is part of the Risk and Compliance Function. The role reports into the Prudential Risk Director. The role includes:

  • Day to day oversight over prudential risks including capital management, liquidity management and treasury and market risk management.
  • Reviewing relevant ALCO papers and providing 2LOD commentary where required
  • Undertaking the annual review of risk appetite (liquidity, IRRBB etc)
  • Supporting the annual review of the ICAAP
  • Supporting ongoing horizon scanning and reporting of regulatory and market developments
About You

What you’ll bring to the team

The role forms a key part of a small team providing oversight across prudential risks (capital, liquidity, and market risk), we are looking for candidates that have:

  • Experience of working in similar sized banks in either the first or second line
  • Technical knowledge and experience in prudential risk (ideally a focus on liquidity risk management)
  • Effective team working skills
This is a 6 month fixed term contract working Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week, there will be a requirement to work in the London office two days per week. About Us
