Location: Doncaster
Salary: £80 - £100 per day
Start Date: Immediate

Are you passionate about sports and eager to inspire the next generation? GSL Education are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated PE Support to join a vibrant school in Doncaster. This is an incredible opportunity to support students in their physical education and help them develop a love for sports and fitness.

About the Role

As a PE Support, you will play a vital role in assisting the PE department. You will help organise and supervise sports activities, support students during PE lessons, and ensure that all equipment is used safely and effectively. Your role will also involve encouraging students to participate in physical activities, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and helping to plan and execute school sports events. You will work closely with PE teachers to create an engaging and inclusive environment where all students can thrive.

Responsibilities

  • Assist PE teachers in delivering high-quality physical education lessons.
  • Support students during sports activities and ensure their safety.
  • Help organise and manage school sports events and competitions.
  • Maintain and prepare sports equipment and facilities.
  • Encourage students to participate in physical activities and promote a healthy lifestyle.
  • Monitor and record students’ progress and provide feedback to teachers.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role or a strong interest in sports and physical education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in physical education or sports coaching is desirable.
