Healthshare is a successfulprovider of clinical and diagnostic services to the private and NHS sectorsacross various locations throughout the country. At Healthshare Clinic WestLondon we have an 8 bedded day surgery unit and theatre complex with 1 theatreand 4 recovery bays, radiology unit, endoscopy unit, 6 consulting rooms and 2minor surgery rooms.
Weare looking for experienced Lead Housekeeper to work for Healthshare ClinicWest London. The post holder will ensure that professional and nationalstandards are adhered to in the clinic. The role as the Lead Housekeeper is an integral part of the Healthshare Clinic West London team.
Main duties of the job
This post includes housekeeping as well as organizing the staff rota, ordering housekeeping stock, ensuring checklists are complete by the housekeeping team, move/replace/ exchange the medical gases cylinders in the medical gases sheds storage units when required, maintaining the high standards of cleanliness required within the clinic, disposing of rubbish and other general duties that occur within the clinic.

Job responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to:
Help replenishment of medical gases in the medical gasesstorage as required. Undertake errand duties when/as required. Ensure all rubbish is disposed of in accordance withhospital policy. Maintain the general cleanliness by assisting in cleaningthe rest of departments as per rota. Undertake specific cleaning duties when requested. Maintain security within the department. Any other duties commensurate in line with the requirementsof the post. Undertaking the day to day cleaning of patient, public andemployee areas. Maintaining a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitorsand Healthshare employees. Replenishment of linen and consumables. Flexibility to work in all departments (including Theatre areas)and at other Healthshare sites where appropriate and as requested. Cleaning and servicing of all hospital areas (clinical andnon-clinical, including Theatre) to the required Healthshare standards and inline with Healthshare procedures. Setting up of rooms in accordance with the policies and procedures. Undertake any duties required of the housekeeping departmentincluding the housekeeping duties in all kitchen areas. Complete daily task sheets on a daily basis for auditing purposesas required. Comply with room clean target times and any timing targets forcleaning of general areas. Undertake deep cleaning of areas on a rota basis and/or accordingto the cleaning schedule. Use cleaning chemicals and materials according to instructions,COSHH reports and Healthshare procedures. Use appropriate H&S signage at all times to notify employees,patients and visitors that cleaning is in progress.Key Working Relationships

Management duties andresponsibilities
To work with the wider HousekeepingTeam to ensure that the clinic is clean and compliant with health regulations. All Cleaning and Regularchecks are undertaken of all hospital areas as assigned. Checklists to becompleted and signed appropriately. That all issues andconcerns are proactively managed and communicated to the Line Manager.Patient Pathway Planning
The post holder may berequired to carry out other relevant duties as required and directed by hospitalTeam Leads The Lead Housekeeper willbe expected to participate in objectives, contractual obligations andgovernance agenda.
