Lineage is the world’s largest and most innovative provider of temperature-controlled logistics solutions – this means we help move food from farms to the dinner table, with more than 22,000 employees across over 400 locations and spanning 20 countries across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and South America.

We are looking to appoint a Finance Administrator that is keen to learn and manage the financial aspects of our warehouse at Belle Eau Park in Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire. This is one of our bigger sites with over 300 staff across multiple functions.

Working hours:

Monday – Friday 08:00-16:30 with 1 hour lunch.

Competitive starting salary

You will need to:

Have exemplary analytical skills.

Be a qualified accountant and educated to degree level or equivalent.

Have experience in working with Operations and External Customers.

Hold strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

Ensure weekly invoicing is correct and done in a timely manner.

Ensure the reliability, accuracy, and completeness of the site's financial information.

Ensure quality and reliability of plans, budgets, and forecasts.

Develop customer profitability analysis to support the decision-making process.

Ensure the quality of finance analysis and the tracking of action plans.

Ensure that risks and opportunities are presented in an actionable manner to the management team.

Liaise with on-site leadership to help with strategic decision-making.

Key Qualities

Preferably possess a range of communication and influencing styles that can be deployed with stakeholders and senior members of the Leadership Team to drive performance and delivery of plans within budget.

Be able to bring credibility and integrity to business area through your commercial awareness and mindset of doing the right thing for our business, team members and customers.

Be comfortable in challenging, confronting and solving difficult situations whilst maintaining solid internal and external relationships.

Be able to bring a balanced view to decision making with credible contribution beyond financial analysis.

Have a positive attitude and be keen to develop – keeping yourself motivated to get the job done and to deliver to tight timelines; actively seeking accountability and opportunity.

Demonstrate an inquisitive approach, an eye for detail and solid financial modelling skills, evolving in line with business and external requirements.

The ideal candidate will need to possess experience in accounting combined with a natural curiosity and eagerness to learn. Have an ability to review and challenge the status quo and suggest improvements on site while influencing change. This role would suit someone that enjoys working on changing priorities and enjoy having the opportunity to build great relationships.
