Site Electrical Engineer

The main responsibilities will be:

Hold the pivotal role of Appointed Mine Electrical Engineer, ensuring compliance with current legislation and industry regulations. Set and enforce engineering standards to guarantee the safe and productive operation of our assets. Spearhead the identification and implementation of best practices to optimize operational efficiency. Provide technical leadership and support to our operational teams. Stay ahead of the curve by continually exploring and integrating new technologies and practices. Lead capital projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to safety, regulatory, and financial requirements.

About you

Experience: A proven track record as an Electrical Engineering Manager, ideally within mining, tunnelling, or civil industries. Expertise: Extensive knowledge of electrical equipment and maintenance techniques, with a focus on enhancing machine reliability. Qualifications: Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, Chartered Engineer status, and relevant certifications such as NEBOSH General Certificate and Regulations BS7671. Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams.
