Job Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Chemistry Teacher to deliver high-quality chemistry lessons to students aged 11-18. The successful candidate will inspire a love for the subject and help students achieve their full potential through engaging and challenging teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver effective chemistry lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
• Collaborate with science department colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and share best practices.
• Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school events as required.
• Support students with additional needs to ensure they have equal access to the curriculum.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching chemistry at the secondary school level, preferably with A-level experience.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for chemistry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
