As a Receptionist, you will be instrumental in supporting the day-to-day operations of FireFit Youth & Community Hub. Your role will include being the first point of contact for our visitors, managing customer enquiries with high standards of professionalism, and ensuring all administrative tasks related to bookings and memberships are handled with precision.

This is an important role in which you will:

  • Act as the first point of contact for all visitors at the FireFit Youth & Community Hub, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment, managing sign-ins, and addressing enquiries through various communication channels.
  • Handle the booking and venue hire enquiries, accurately maintaining membership accounts and the booking management system.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as filing and stock control, assist with financial procedures like cash handling, and support the management team with ordering goods and equipment.
  • Work across the week including evenings and weekends

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential to provide excellent customer service and effectively handle enquiries from a diverse clientele in person, over the phone, and via digital channels.
  • Administrative Proficiency: Knowledge of administrative procedures, including data entry, file management, and the use of booking systems, as well as experience with basic financial administration such as cash handling.
  • Attention to Detail and Organization: Ability to maintain accuracy in data management and financial transactions, with strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively under pressure.
