Applications are invited for the position of Clerical Officer/Receptionist. The post holder will primarily be the first point of contact for the general public, staff, patients, carers who require assistance. A key part of the role is to provide administrative support to the Community Hospital with the successful applicant being based in Deeside Community Hospital.
Welsh language Skills need to be learnt within months when appointed to the post.
Main duties of the jobThe successful candidate will be highly organised, dedicated to customer care and motivated to deliver a high quality service. There will be a need to work on ones own initiative but also as part of a team.
The post holder must have a helpful and pleasant manner with an enthusiasm to do their upmost in achieving a patient’s expectations and requirements, making their clinical journey run as smooth as possible.
A flexible approach to this post is essential, as well as superb communications and ample computer skills. The post holder may at times be required to work within different departments/sites to meet the demands of the service.
