Earn up to £500 per day on a self-employed basis with weekend working across the Lincolnshire area.

Main duties of the job

Adult Audiology Services: No paediatric work required Pure Tone Audiometry: Conduct precise and accurate hearing tests. Microsuction Full Masking: Perform comprehensive masking procedures. Comprehensive Adult Hearing Rehabilitation Service: Includes first assessments, hearing aid fitting, and individual care plan development. Rehabilitation Advice: Offer guidance to patients and carers. Diagnostic Procedures: Perform tests during ENT clinics for adults and older children. Support Specialist Audiologists: Assist with cases as required. Professional Development: Maintain and document your growth.

Job description

Job responsibilities

Conduct first assessments following guidelines and protocols. Develop and implement individual patient treatment plans. Fit the most appropriate hearing aid using real ear measurements. Provide advice on assistive listening devices and refer to other agencies as needed. Fine-tune hearing aids to meet patient requirements. Identify patients needing additional rehabilitation and refer them to a specialist Audiologist. Assist with vestibular assessments and operate related equipment. Perform timely diagnostic tests during ENT clinics. Ensure accurate and up-to-date patient notes and information. Understand patient pathways and maintain accurate waiting list data. Experience

Essential

Relevant degree in Audiology or equivalent with completed clinical placements Experience with microsuction Excellent verbal communication skills Flexibility to travel across the Lincolnshire area

Desirable

Previous experience working as a qualified audiologist
