JobSummary:

Tosupport the delivery of quality repairs to ensure decent andsuitable housing working as part of a team carrying out a largerange of multiskilling works associated but not limited tomaintenance works to all types of LBI managed properties and socialspaces as scheduled or directed bysupervisor.

KeyDuties/Accountabilities

Tocarry out multiskilled works agreed as instructed by the Supervisoron Responsive Planned Empty Homes High Value Repairs or CapitalRepairs to an excellent standard uponcompletion.

Toplan and organise workload to maximise productive time and ensurethe best service to customers. This includes dealing with urgentand emergency repairs and ensuring as far as practicable that allappointments and targets aremet.

Topromptly inform a scheduler planner/supervisor of any unanticipatedproblems or delays that might impact on appointments for that dayso that work can berescheduled.

Toprovide regular updates and information to supervisors/schedulerplanner team and other colleagues to assist with ordering ofmaterials planning and scheduling ofwork.

Toreport any follow on or related repair works identified with thecustomer where these cannot be completed during the visit providingsufficient detail to ensure an accurate further works order israised on thesystem.

Tomaintain and contribute to the control of the imprest stock andother company property held on any assigned company vehicle. Toensure the security care and appropriate use of stock toolsmaterials plant and equipment and any other itemsissued.

Toorganise materials tools and equipment required to complete plannedwork and to arrange for imprest stock to be replenished as neededand notify the Supervisor of anydifficulties.

EssentialExperienceRequired:

Experience ofdelivering high quality multiskilling repairs in domesticproperties using a range of portable power tools and equipment isessential.

Experience ofgood construction safety practices and the application of safesystems of work including asbestos awareness working at heights(including safe use of ladders step ladders and scaffolds) isessential.

EssentialQualificationRequired:

RecognisedC&G Apprentice trained in Multiskilling NVQ level 3isessential.

Multiskillstraining to a minimum of NVQ3 or a willingness to be trained to thestandard of requirements needed when employed by LBI isessential.

CSCS Card orhave the required qualifications capacity and willingness tocomplete the safety test and obtain the relevant CSCS card prior tostarting employment isessential.

This rolerequires an Enhanced DBS formally known as the Criminal RecordsBureau (CRB)Disclosure.
