About the role

We’re looking for a Platform Implementation Technician to join our Adviser Business Readiness Team on a 12 month FTC.

As a Platform Implementation Technician, you’ll support the Adviser Business Readiness Team in the delivery of multiple project workstreams within the External Business Readiness area of our re-platforming project.

Ultimately you will be striving to successfully deliver the re-platforming project within planned deadlines, by planning and implementing a wide range of project tasks within the various workstreams of the Adviser Business Readiness area of the project.

In this role you’ll spend your time:

Supporting assigned project workstreams within the Adviser Business Readiness area of the new Platform project.Assisting with the production of high quality weekly status reporting for assigned project workstreams to the Project Manager and Management.Assisting with other project workstreams as required by the Adviser Business Readiness Team.Working across all business areas and building relationships with key stakeholders to plan and deliver project tasks.Helping to define and deliver a repeatable re-platforming project processDelivering training, where and as deemed appropriate, to internal staff and external Advisors.

A bit about you

Your friends would probably describe you as the “go to person who knows their stuff”, and you have a strong understanding of Investment Platforms and the Financial Services industry. You’ll be the customer focused person who understands the importance of having great working relationships. You’ll love making plans and delivering on them, and you are able to work flexibly with limited direction. 

You love collaborating with others and continuously getting face to face time with stakeholders. You understand what Nucleus' core purpose is and you support our core values and personally demonstrate these.

We’ve always placed more importance on cultural contribution above technical ability, but we’d really like you to have:

Experience of working within the financial services industry or related investment product knowledge, along with experience of managing both internal and external stakeholders.Experience of working on projects, preferably within the financial services industry.Strong presentation skills of self and pre-prepared materials to individuals and groups as required.Demonstrate a competent and professional image of self and the department amongst colleagues and external clients.Excellent time management and productivity.Ability to work under pressure and deadline driven.
