We are currently looking to recruit a Technical Project Manager on a Permanent basis to join the team based at our Head office in Didsbury, Manchester

How can you make a difference?

Reporting into the Project Management team, this role will manage and control the technical elements of a wind farm project, especially regarding Timescales, Costs, Health and Safety and Quality.

What will you be doing?

Key responsibilities for this role include:

Review of the contract from the sales team and identifying and deviations, project risks and opportunities Confirm project configuration and approval of CMAT Scada, CMAT MV and CMAT e-tender Align project and engineering schedules Schedule internal meetings to manage technical topics and issues Review internal and external quality reports Support the business with all technical topics and issues which impact on Installation and Commissioning Supporting the project management team and customers with all technical issues with impact in completion and handover Lead the project management team together with your Project Manager and Commercial Project Manager to manage and improve technical aspects of variation orders Monthly reporting of the status, risks and opportunities to the PM

What are we looking for?

The successful candidate will have significant experience as a Technical Project Manager and be used to managing technical issues in complex projects within the wind industry or similar industries. You will also hold a degree or similar qualification in an engineering and technology discipline, have completed Basic Turbine Installation training and be proficient in being able to perform complex projects to a high standard.

You will have the ability to monitor and control project execution, with a strong focus on safety and quality, Ideally, you will have experience in turnkey projects but this is not essential. You will also be comfortable presenting information and responding to questions from our internal stakeholders and customers on technical issues.

Other skills required for this role include:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong planning and organisational skills Computer literacy skills particular Microsoft packages You will have a willingness to continuously develop your knowledge, especially around technical developments

This role will be based at our UK Head Office in Manchester but will also require regular travel across the UK & Ireland with nights away from home.
