Croydon University Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic ,caring and motivated individual to join the Theatre team as a Theatre Practitioner.

We are particularly interested in candidates with theatre scrub in most of the specialty, but also with some leadership skills experience .

Demonstrate a commitment to developing yourself and support the various teams. You will act as a role model for others, promoting best practice and delivery of high quality , patient centered care.

Working in Theatre ,you will be rotated through the different specialties , including Emergency ,Trauma Orthopaedic, to ensure excellent patient care is maintained throughout the patient's pathway.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will be part of the clinical team who ensure that clinical care of patients, and others using the services receive an efficient and quality service.

prepare the clinical areas (theatre) to receive patient for surgical procedures . Provide scrub assistance to surgeon during surgical procedure. Assist in patient positioning Ensure all documentation on IT system is accurately imputed into the system accordance with Trust and departmental policy and procedures . Uniform code Maintaining a clean working environment .

Number of year experience in scrubbing and leading the team in all different field Demonstrate up dated clinical knowledge in acute setting Able to use own initiative in communicating difficult issues
