Education/ Qualifications

Essential criteria

1.Registered Nurse on the NMC Register 2. MSc ANP / ACP or equivalent 3.Recognised Chemotherapy qualification 4.Specialist post registration qualification in oncology 6.Independent Non-Medical Prescriber

Desirable criteria

IRMER qualification Advanced communications skills training

Knowledge & Experience

Essential criteria

1.Experience of working as at Nurse Practitioner at band 7 in chemotherapy setting . 2.Experience of assessing patients prior to receiving SACT in a solid tumour setting. 3.Extensive contemporaneous post registration experience in chemotherapy day case setting. 4.Recent chemotherapy administration experience. 5Involvement in projects/issues related to advanced nursing practice. 6 Teaching and assessing in clinical practice experience 7 Proven leadership and management skills & experience

Desirable criteria

•Evidence of practically applied knowledge and skills attained through MSc study
