Exam Invigilator

Contract: Full-time

Location: Lincoln

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Rate: £83 - £100 per day

GSL Education Lincolnshire is hiring diligent and reliable Exam Invigilators for our team in Lincoln. This important role ensures the proper conduct and integrity of examinations, starting as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:

  • Create a conducive environment for students to take their exams.
  • Prepare examination venues by setting up equipment and papers in accordance with procedures.
  • Monitor students during exams to ensure compliance with regulations and prevent malpractice.
  • Collect and organize examination papers at the end of the session.
  • Assist with any administrative tasks related to the exams.

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to provide clear instructions.
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential.
  • Previous experience as an exam invigilator is advantageous but not required, as training will be provided.
  • Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including providing an enhanced DBS on the update service, or completing an application for a new check.
