Role : Waking Night Support Worker

Salary : £11.89 - £12.19 per hour

Service : Pirlea House, Croydon

Your Role

Our Support Workers are our greatest asset. Through understanding the needs of the people you support, you’ll provide exceptional care that truly changes lives. A career with meaning, you’ll also have a lot of fun, too – from helping with daily tasks to amazing trips that make dreams come true.

Help the people we support to engage in meaningful opportunities and activities – empowering them to enjoy a great life filled with amazing experiences. Get involved in the community, support during leisure and social activities, and celebrate special occasions. Communicate appropriately, considering individual communication needs, and helping people to communicate effectively with others, too. Work across various shift patterns including late, weekend and night shifts. Full time and part time positions are available.

Your Service

This supported living service is a perfect home for those looking to live independently, but with specialist help to support 24/7. This apartment-based supported living model gives individuals the freedom, independence and responsibility of their own high-spec apartment, along with shared access to outdoor spaces and communal areas.

Next Steps

Once you’ve applied our dedicated in-house recruitment team will call to share more about the role. The next step will be an interview in the service, where you’ll meet the team and the people we support. If successful, we’ll organise your Free DBS Check and references prior to confirming your start date. Your journey will then begin with a 3-day online induction, before heading to the service to get started.

We welcome applications from all backgrounds, and no experience is needed. You may be new to care, or already have experience in the social care sector or NHS (Mental Health Support Worker, Care Worker, Healthcare Assistant or Care Assistant). As long as you come with a person-centred approach, a caring nature, and you are able to demonstrate a commitment to working as part of a team to support disabled and autistic people – then we’re here to provide you with the training and knowledge needed to succeed.
