Optime are excited to be recruiting General Assistants in partnership with Dnata Catering at Stansted Airport. This job offers fantastic hours and overtime opportunities. This is a very enjoyable role with a great company and fantastic conditions and facilities.

What’s on offer:

  • Rate of pay: £12.54 per hour
  • Shift patterns available 4 on 4 off or 4on 2 off or 5 on 2 off (All staff must be flexible across all 7 days)
  • Location: Stansted Airport, CM24 1RL
  • Free Parking on Site
  • Free breakfast, lunch and dinner on site
  • Free tea and coffee whilst on shift
  • Hours per week: 40 hours per week - The warehouse is a 24 hour operation
  • Shift timings Day Shifts: Earliest start date 05:00am, Latest Finish 20:00pm
  • Weekly Pay
  • Temp to Perm (performance based)

Key Duties:

  • Working as a General Catering Assistant, you will support the operation in one of four departments:
  • Our Cold Kitchen department prepare and plate in-flight meals to a set menu, for both Economy and First-Class passengers.
  • The Production department is crucial to preparing, handling and packaging bar trolleys for in flight services.
  • In Equipment, employees stock handle and package key items for our airline partners.
  • Always maintain a safe working environment

Requirements:

  • Valid Passport or Driving Licence /Birth Certificate or National ID card
  • UK Settled Status (If applicable)
  • Proof of National Insurance
  • Proof of (current) Address
  • 5 Year Address History
  • 5 Year Work Reference History
  • Successful candidates will be required to complete a basic criminal record check following interview in line with CAA requirements.
