Our client one of Newcastle UponTynes leading law firms are actively expanding their Private Clientteam and are on the lookout for a talented and experiencedRural/Agricultural Property Solicitor to join their dynamic andhighachieving rural department.

RoleOverview:

As a Rural PropertySolicitor you will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensiveand precise legal counsel to our clients esteemed clientele.Reporting directly to the hiring firms Head of Department youwill:

  • Manage a diverseportfolio of clients while autonomously handling acaseload.
  • Ensure meticulousmaintenance of your case files prioritising confidentiality andcompliance with data protectionregulations.
  • Engage in a widespectrum of matters including rural property sales and purchasesfarm and land refinancing farm business tenancies agriculturalholdings act tenancies and easements overland.
  • Actively participate inbusiness development efforts to expand your network of referralsand contribute to enhancing your own the teams and the firmsreputation.
  • Collaborate with theTeams rural property partner on various rural propertyaffairs.


Requirements

KeyQualifications and Experience:

To be asuccessful candidate you shouldpossess:

  • A provenbackground in property transactions specifically in the sale andpurchase of rural and agriculturalproperty.
  • Independence as aqualified solicitor or experienced fee earner with a solid grasp ofagricultural/rural propertylaw.
  • Strong multitasking abilitiesto manage client demands and caseloads while handling noncaseworkresponsibilities.
  • Strict adherenceto file and case management policies procedures andcompliance.
  • Precise recording ofbillable and nonbillabletime.
  • Teamoriented mindset promotingcollaboration with fellow fee earners and supportstaff.
  • A track record of deliveringtoptier legal advice and achieving favourable outcomes forclients.
  • Outstanding communicationand interpersonal skills fostering trust and rapport withclients.
  • Proficiency in independentcaseload management with a willingness to collaborate withcolleagues when needed.
  • Uptodateknowledge and expertise in the relevant practice area stayingcurrent with legislation and caselaw.
  • Ongoing commitment toprofessional development and addressing learningneeds.
  • Active engagement withsupervision processes.
  • Strongproficiency in IT systems.
  • Aneagerness to contribute to business development efforts andcultivate a network ofreferrals.
