By working with us as a Healthcare Assistant, youll be a valued member of a compassionate team dedicated to caring for a young girl in Blackpool.

Our service user is a fun, loving young girl who has a cheeky sense of humour. She is very sociable and loves to chat to others. She enjoys playing and exploring, baking, listening to music, spending time with her friends, and loves having hair plaited.

Your role? To provide essential care during the evening and night, remain attentive, engage in her favourite activities, and manage our service users clinical needs.

Please note, our service users family have specifically requested female staff for their team.

Main duties of the job

Pay Rates:

£ - £ per hour Approx. £165 - £200 (per 10-hour night shift)

Shifts available on a Permanent contract:

Full Time & Part Time - Waking Nights 10pm 8am 3-4 shifts per week Part Time Evenings 5pm - 10pm 3 shifts per week

Please note training will be based in Rochdale, and candidates must be able to commute to this location.

Essential Experience:

3 months previous care experience Medication administration Personal care Moving and handling

Job responsibilities

The role of a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) is to work without direct supervision in the home of the service user providing care and support including personal, social, and domestic support whilst adhering to the service users individual care and support plan.

The aim of the position is to enable service users to remain safely in their own home with as much independence as possible.

Alongside providing care and support in a professional, discreet, and caring manner, always ensuring the service users right to privacy and dignity is maintained
